Ah, the good-ole what-if. I love the question of everything. And that's the true meaning of what it is to be human, isn't it? WHAT IF? It's inherent in our every action, our every exploration. It's what feeds the creative, drives our intelligence, and strikes fear in the theocracy.

In the end, it's a quest for answers, which is really what the art of creation, be it the written word, music, or the visual arts, is all about.

Wow, that was pretentious, wasn't it? ;-)

I think you're doing a great job in your field of study (which is very interesting, but lots of hard work! Probably worth though I'm assuming?). Introducing students, and turning them on to materials science and engineering, but you probably have a love for it! I admire your hard work and dedication to your craft (if I dare call it that...). Kudos and good day!

The sentence is fine. It has a different meaning from "I did not see you for a long time."
I could not means there is a reason why you did not see the other person. The reason could be that you parents did not allow you, you were out of the country, you were in the hospital, etc.

I think Fallon in Minneapolis is a wonderful agency, but it seems like alot of their stuff over the past few years is in the same tonality as "Cat Herders" from back in the day. Bahamavention, the Citibank stuff, Bounty paper towels, their Subway work, Travelers Insurance, among others all have that clever-ironic Midwest hipster thing going on which is often executed brilliantly, (especially Citibank and Travelers) but i wonder if that kind of tonality is valid for most brands in the long term.
