Essential Career Info: Interior Design
Could interior design be the right career for you? In this article we’ll focus on the creativity aspect of this profession.
Creativity is a subtle, but important quality to have when considering interior design as a profession. Much of your advancement will depend on your ability to be original in your creative efforts to design any space. Clients will always want to work with a designer that can offer them something that nobody else has.
On occasions clients do not want to change everything, or buy new furnishings and draperies; they simply want to make whatever they do have look and feel different. Creative thinking is the only thing that is going to help here.
Colors are your friend, and creativity can help you in setting colors against one another. Many designers love to add color to a room and change things just using this method and perhaps adding accents to existing items.
Accents in a room can vary. You can create a great space by adding throw pillows, valances, and vases.
Interior design could be the perfect career choice for a person that likes to be creative, but not idle and/or isolated.

Write a short poem every morning. I write a little thing that has become known as the Daily Menu Poem in the remote industrial facility I work at. It's just eight lines about what's for dinner each night and I include current events or some little social satire, something about Britney for example. It's always tasteful but funny and everybody loves them. That will get your creative thinking juices going. It sort of flows into everything else… Once your mind is engaged it stays engaged throughout the day.
Well, that and coffee!
I don't understand why US carmakers cannot get the interior design right! 40K dollar car, and looka at the dashboard, interior colors. etc. all crappy, cheap. I have heard this for so many years (since 80s) but still they couldn't get it. All GM cars? are made with cheap, shitty materials inside WHY WHY WHY? When will you learn your lesson GM? I mean exterior are fine, they look quality from outside, but, when you get in the car to see inside, it always make you feel “oh boy, lets go to toyota”
Terminal.app is the name of the program. It does not mean terminal, it is a proper noun. Get over it. > What does it do except opening new tabs (well, IIRC it doesn’t even support tabs) and setting colors and fonts? It handles copy + paste in a standard way (no special copy/paste keybind), the search feature is handy when going over output, it *does* handle multiple tabs, and I can switch between them quickly with apple + { or }. It is as every other mac product – simple. Most other shells I’ve encountered try to do too much, [...]
You have a mind of a creative thinking. I’m not much of design and creativity but i do like the art work you done, it’s marvelous. Good job there Linda.
the word which comes most easily and clearly to mind is "required", but of course that isn't a negative adjective. Minus is a negative word in itself so I think you may have trouble finding a negative adjective that doesn't confuse what you are trying to say. And minus also seems to me to be bit confusing. What about "except for the courses offered for a degree in Interior Design."
