That's the logo of the 2010 Census. Look at the "message from the Director" sheet and see several uses of the words "United States" with no trademark protection. The circle r only appears next to the "United States Census 2010" logo.

It would be pretty hard for us to trademark United States anyway, seeing as we have the United States of Mexico living next door.

First off the Assessed value has nothing to do with the actual value of the property. That number is used purely for property tax purposes.

Secondly, to prove mortgage fraud would be quite difficult. You have to find an attorney who is well versed in TILA, HOEPA and RESPA and then all your loan documents would have to be examined to find any "errors".

Then if the court were to find in your favor you will be required to pay back the money you borrowed. Its a misconception that if you have a violation on the mortgage that you just [...]

I noticed that the source of the article is an American paper, The Washington Post. That just shows you how we, as Americans, condem any actions such as rape. We are not trying to cover up for our soldier, nor do we try to justify his actions by calling the victim an infidel or quoting a passage from the Bible that makes everything okay. This is why I'm proud to be an American.
