Electric Blanket

The cold weather is spreading across most parts of the country. New Year and Christmas season bring in joy and celebrations but along with it comes the chilly weather stays through the autumn and winter. The winter can be really gruesome sometimes, the below zero temperatures aggravate the situation for mankind. There are various methods and techniques available for trade that can help you keep warm. One of the simplest is drinking a cup of coffee but that would bring you temporary relief. For a long term and best result the best option is an Electric Blanket. These mattress pads are a great solution providing instant heat…

The first electric bedding products were invented in the early 1900′s, but the first model of blanket was invented in 1936.Every person living wants a great nights sleep after a day filled of hard work. If you turn the blanket about 5 minutes before hopping into bed, the bed will be warm and toasty when you get in. Though some people are concerned about sleeping with electric cords on their bed, As research has showed that Overheating your body during sleep is believed to disrupt your sleep cycle. Not everyone is comfortable sleeping with cords running through their beds. Electric blankets also present a burn risk to those who cannot feel pain or are unable to react to it. Individuals included in this group are babies, small children, diabetics, and the elderly.

I’ve used one for many years and find an electric blanket the ultimate solution to a chilly bed. Follow the instructions used on the pamphlet you will never want to opt it out of your bed. Never use an electric under blanket as an electric over blanket, and vice versa. Keep all blankets flat. Tie electric under blankets to the bed or mattress – this stops them slipping and creasing, which could damage them. Don’t get blankets wet, and if your blanket does get wet, don’t use it. Never switch it on to dry it. These are the basic guidelines that every electric blanket is accompanied with.

Electric blankets are available in all the standard sizes and come with a variety of heat controls. For double, queen, and king beds, there are usually two controls so that each sleeper can adjust their side. Some new controls have timers and go off and on as desired. Available in limited color choices in the market your choices are few; however as long as it provides warmth in the chilly nights it really doesn’t bother me. The electric blankets are machine washable and can be folded, taking care not to crimp the wires.

Make use of this magnificient electric blankets to keep you warm and toasty as if you were in a cocoon.Use them safely and prevent health hazards as you wouldnot want to spend the coming new year by causing a fire. This bedding equipment is the ultimate in providing instant heat so go dust off the old ones and get cozy.

Well, you can decide if I am an AGW 'believer' or not, I believe that the climate is changing globally, that it is a long term trend that is a natural process influenced by mankind, but I don't think we really know yet how significant the impact of mankind's activities will be on the trend.

To answer your question, yes, I think the frequency and variety questions about the cold weather mean something to AGW believers. It means that some people have a very simplistic view-most would describe it as 'ignorant'-of climate and science.
