Why Stomach Stretch Marks Appear
Stretch marks may appear on your belly and can make you feel too ashamed to wear a bikini on the beach, to change clothes in front of other women at the gym, or even to undress in front of your husband. Stomach stretch marks appear as a result of great weight gain and loss, usually due to pregnancy. Pregnancy stretch marks can leave unattractive, reddish purple marks all over your hips and breasts, but are particularly inclined to mark your belly.
Erase Old Stretch Marks
Stretch marks appear when the skin is pulled beyond its ability to stretch, resulting in tiny tears. When these tears heal, they are replaced with scar tissue. These rippled and discolored scars are what we know as striae, or stretch marks. This scar tissue contains less pigment than surrounding skin, so when you go sunbathing, those patches will remain paler than tanned skin. Striae often begin as red, angry ripples, which change into silvery white ripples as the years go by.
The skin is a remarkable organ. It’s one of the largest organs, evidencing a high level of complexity. Collagen and elastin, special proteins that give skin its binding nature and elasticity, allow the skin to stretch to extremes. When our skin doesn’t have the necessary amounts of collagen and elastin, stomach stretch marks can appear. In order to prevent stretch marks, it is helpful to rub a high quality cream that contains elastin and collagen regenerative triggers. By rubbing these triggers into your skin, twice a day you can help your skin’s recovery. This is not done with a cream that contains bovin collagen or elastin, those will do no more than temporarily attract moist to your skin. This is done by using a cream that contains elements similar to those found in our own bodies. You can also apply a cream that stimulates the replacement of flawed skin cells and the production of new collagen and elastin to repair striae that have already occurred.
There are some creams that utilize biological activators like those of your body’s own regenerative processes to prevent and erase stretch marks. These creams trigger and regulate an orderly production of collagen, elastin and GAGs and the replacement of flawed skin with healthy skin cells.
With regular use (twice a day for a period of time depending on how serious the blemishes are) these types of cream ‘digests’ flawed cells, gently dissolves skin lesions, shrinks and even eliminates all signs of stretch marks. It also destroys pathogens and stimulates the synthesis of normal collagen, improving elasticity.

I had the same type of stretch marks when I went through my growth spurt in junior high. Yes, it looks horrid, but, they will eventually fade. For now, get thee to the drugstore and purchase Palmer's Cocoa Butter. They have an entire line of cocoa butter products, but their pure cocoa butter (it comes in a stick or in a small tub) is simply awesome. Massage this stuff religiously onto all areas where your stretch marks appear. It will help to fade them faster, though, the key to preventing stretch marks is to use cocoa butter before or as [...]
