Since I only have basic cable, I frequently stumble accross the local channels and they show the making and dedication of the fountain pretty frequently. It's a nice little story. It turns out that even though they put out a call nationally for submissions, it was the design of two local artist that was selected and it was even manufactured by a local company also. A real community effort. I love that it brings so much enjoyment. I need to get down there more often. It's so beautiful.
