Hair Removal

Hair removal has been practised for centuries in almost all human cultures. The methods used vary among times and regions, but shaving is the most common method Gone are the days when women had to bear the pain of waxing, or using razor nicks to have beautiful hairless skin. If you’re fed up of razor nicks and don’t like the sound (or the price!) of waxing, with the advance in electronic products in the market there are a wide variety of electrical shaving products available for women. They are hygienic and very convenient to use and less time consuming tan the other hair removal methods used in yester years. They are also a good choice for people who can not use depilatory creams because of sensitive skin…

Earlier the easiest possible option to get rid of unwanted hair was to shave your legs and hands just before the occasion, but prolonged usage of this ruptures the skin and makes the surface rough. The better options now are the two main types of electrical hair removal products: lady shavers and epilators which do the job and leave your skin feeling subtle and smooth. The major distinction between these two products is that Epilators remove hair for a longer period of time than shaving, but the downside is that it can be a bit painful, as this method works by using tweezing discs to pull out hairs by their roots. Many epilators have pain reduction features, and they are nearly all mains operated so you needn’t buy batteries for them. However the electric shavers can be used on dry or wet skin and are a quick, painless method of hair removal. Their effect will last for a briefer period of time than epilators, but they are still advantageous in that you can’t cut yourself with them, unlike when using a razor. However the results may vary depending from human to human and depends entirely on their hair growth.

The other scientific approach is the laser treatment it is costly and not affordable by one and all. A laser is directed through the skin to the hair follicle, where it stops growth. It works best on light-skinned people. However his may not be suitable for the ones with sensitive skin as well Removal of unwanted hair has been practiced since over many centuries be it for social or religious reasons. Hair removal is considered as one of the basic grooming etiquette that is followed in modern world today. It is all about looking good and feeling good and the products just help you attain that in life.

I wish I could be of help here, but as I am of the swarthy Mediterranean persuasion, my only personal solution is to have a professional take care of my bidness. I scoff at your OTC hair removal methods! Especially since now that I'm six months pregnant, I can't even see what's down there… so relying on someone paid to take care of that nastiness for me is my only choice.

OH! I *do* have one recommondation: Tend Skin is a great after-removal product… you can get it at Sephora and I've seen it at Aveda, too. It's awesome for [...]

Damp skin would not be quite as wet as wet skin. It would not be dripping–wet the palms of your hands, or a wash cloth, and pat some water on your face that way. That would be damp. Or, after you come out of the shower pat your skin slightly with a towel. That would be damp. Damp has some surface moisture, but not dripping. Damp is an approximation, not an exact measurement.

If you don't want laser treatment don't do it. Dad isn't the one that has to live with the acne or the results of the laser treatment whether they are good or bad. if you are a teen chances are it will improve with age anyway and if you aren't, acne is just a part of life for some people. I never had acne until after i had children not even as a teen and then after having children i started having problems with it. Mine problems with it are not as bad as some peoples. I find either going [...]

The Vichy product you see in the background is the Deep Cleansing Gel. fabulous. I usually shy away from anything that says because they typically leave your skin feeling stripped when through. But this cleanser sucks the and grime out of pores without sucking the life out of your skin. It just feels refreshingly clean, and not tight. I highly recommend it – especially for dry, acne prone skin.
