When I were this young whipper-snapper’s age I had to get up at 3am, walk the cow, milk the dog, split the water bucket and carry the firewood in for the washing (I wasn’t much of a morning person) before setting out to climb the north face of the glacier to make it to the one roomed school run by a gnarled old buggar who would happily give you six of the best for even raising your eyes during prep which lasted until it was time to go home anyway, and on the way home I had to go via [...]

The very first thing I noticed about Elliot (besides the crazy hippie hair) was the fact that not only had his teeth aligned to perfection, they had also grown to three times their normal size. Veneers are all the rage, I assume.

I'm sure I'll lay down my own chunk of change someday in hopes that I can buy true happiness from a non jacked-up smile.

This commentary is an improvement over some completely-derogatory Farm Bureau comments about organic products that I've seen in previous years. Thank you for acknowledging that many consumers want and appreciate choice.

Some consumers who buy organic products are thinking beyond nutrition. Organic coffee, for example, is almost always shade-grown, and shade-grown-coffee plantations provide habitat for migratory songbirds. There are some other organic products that are also better for wildlife. That's fact, not "bling."

As for the linking of bottled water and organic products -- very interesting. The people I know who buy a lot of organic products are generally the [...]

Organic farming methods offer several benefits for the environment and human health as a whole, but unfortunately, there are many misconceptions and falsehoods being spread regarding organic food and farming methods, both by proponents and detractors. Here are the facts about what organic methods can do for us and what they can't.
