The very cheap materials can make the price look like it’s a good deal but will do nothing to improve the overall feel and performance of your mattress. Wool is a very good breathable and anti-microbial vehicle that can be used as a batting material that should be used in the quilted covers on a natural latex mattress. Look for certified organic wool when buying a 100% natural latex mattress not only is it breathable it’s very environmentally friendly. The quality of cover used for latex mattresses is not only dependent on the type of material used but also the ticking the way in which it is woven into the fabric. Tencel which is fiber made from wood pulp is another good material to use in mattress covers it has a nice supple feel to it and will also stretch with the latex to match your body.

Try to make sure the retailer of your choice has been in the mattress business for a long time you can then rest assured that they a reputation in the business and that they will not be going out of business any time soon. A company that has been around at least 15 years is a good bet.

Ask about the companies exchange policy some retailers will not be you an exchange after you have made the purchase which could leave you with a mattress that is of no use to you. Try to use a retailer with an exchange policy that will allow you to change the mattress should it not be to your liking.
