How To Identify Plants
Many people have lots of interest in nature and especially plants. But they have no idea on how to get information on how to identify plants. Many people try with book, what people generally make a common mistake is that they will go out and buy a general field guide on plants. But let me try to give you an advice. Don’t go for the general field guide at first. That’s because if you try to read the complete book at one time, it is not going to help you. The best way in learning on how to identify plants is to go to a local library and take a book on it. You can start from one part of America so that you can also learn what kind of climatic conditions these plants need to survive. The smaller the area the better to learn step by step. The more photographs and illustrations, the better. The ideal sort of book will be something like “How to identify plants in coastal areas of Northern California.” Any broader than that, it is likely to be useless unless you have some experience…
If you can get an expert to show you on how to identify plants, it will be more helpful. This is more useful if you are using the plant for
cooking purposes. You can take the services of an expert and he can identify poisonous plants for you. You would be surprised to see that there is not much difference between a poisonous and non poisonous plants. Many people have gotten sick and some of them even died, after consuming these plants. That’s all because they were not able to identify the plants that they could eat.
If you cannot find who can help you in identifying the plants in your area, still you have plenty of options. There are many national, state or regional parks in almost every where in United States. These parks are having lots of natural flora and fauna, and they also have experts called the rangers to manage these parks. You can take the help of these rangers who be glad to show you and your group on how to identify different species of plants and animals in the area. If you desire further information, he or she will be able to help you to a variety of helpful sources to help you learn all you want about how to identify plants. In addition, these nature walks can be a lot of fun, and a great way to meet people in your area with a similar interest in local fauna.
After you have the knowledge identifying plants, then you can go ahead and look out for a good field guide. There are lots of good field guide which helps you to gain more knowledge about the plants. Some of these guides have photographs, and some of them have photographs and pencil drawings both. I would prefer the one which has both, that’s because I’ve found out that drawings are more helpful in making you to how to identify plants, because they tend to exaggerate the plants distinguish details, while photos understate them.

No, not necessarily. It should just be interesting, as in "interest". Generally, a human interest story is something that is unique, unusual or emotionally touching.
Yes, I agree with you that the human interest stories are BS, but I suppose the commercials are necessary. (I don't like them, really, but) It cost a load of money to buy the rights to buy the rights to the Olympics, and without all those commercials, NBC would lose money. And I know a lot of sports may be going on at a time, but if there aren't (as in they're only one or two going on at once), it's live coverage, so NBC can't determine when they go on. In real time, you might have five-who knows how [...]
Little blogger interest? Maybe most fall into one of two camps: 1) FB is the anti-web, pay/give no more attention to it. 2) FB is/will be the source of a lot of human interest stories that will bring in ad revenue; let someone else throw the hardballs.
